Current Positions:
Professor in a special appointment on the subject of Employability in Work Relationships. This position is funded by the 'Nederlandse Stichting voor Psychotechniek' (NSvP). Nauta is also co-founder of Factor Vijf, a consultancy.
Background: Aukje Nauta earned her Ph.D degree in organizational psychology from the University of Groningen in 1996. She worked as a post-doc and assistant professor at the Faculty of Management and Organization of the University of Groningen from 1997-2002. She was a senior researcher and consultant at TNO Work and Employment from 2002-2007. Aukje Nauta currently combines her academic appointment with an advisory role for organizations seeking improvement in work relations and employability. She has published on several HRM and organizational-psychological topics, including pro-social behavior, conflict,negotiation and mediation in organizations, social comparison, teamwork, employability, and age-sensitive HRM.
Main interests:
Aukje Nauta's main areas of research include pro-social behavior in organizations, as well as its opposite, i.e. conflict in organizations. Specific research projects relate to: Employability and pro-social behavior in organizations, social innovation, and customized employment relations. She combines her research with consultancy projects, which relate to topics such as employability, age-sensitive HRM, customized employment relations, and conflict management.
