Chunglin Kwa

Chunglin Kwa

is Lecturer in Science and Technology Studies. He teaches courses in History of Science, Philosophy of Science and on Sustainable Development in relation to the Environmental Sciences. He works with John Grin and Marlous Blankesteijn (among others) in the governance studies subprogramme of the Dutch Knowledge Network on Systems Innovations (KSI).

Kwa was Faculty Fellow at Harvard University (Kennedy School of Government) during 1999-2000. From 1991 to 2006, he was Editor of the EASST Review, the Journal of the European Association for the Study of Science and Technology.

Kwa's current book project will offer a history of ecology and the landscape through the vantage point of its means of visualization: painting, (aerial) photography, diagrams, and digital imagery obtained by remote sensing.
