CEO VodafoneZiggo – 'Disruptive technology, business and society'
Jeroen Hoencamp was appointed CEO of Vodafone Netherlands and (intended) CEO of VodafoneZiggo in September 2016. Prior to that he was the CEO of Vodafone in the UK from 2013 to 2016 and CEO of Vodafone Ireland from 2010 to 2012. Jeroen has been a Vodafone employee since 1998 and held several senior management positions in Sales, Corporate Marketing and Retail at Vodafone Netherlands until 2010. Earlier in his career he held a number of senior marketing and sales positions at Canon Southern Copy Machines, Inc. in the US and at Thorn EMI/Skala Home Electronics in the Netherlands. He is a former officer in the Royal Dutch Marine Corps. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nyenrode University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia (US).
CEO Philips – 'Disruptive technology, business and society'
Frans van Houten is CEO of Royal Philips, a position he has held since April 2011. He is also Chairman of the Board of Management and the Executive Committee. He is passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship and business transformation to drive competitiveness and customer value. He is extending Philips’ leadership in health technology as the company focuses on its mission to make the world healthier and more sustainable, with the goal of improving three billion lives per year by 2025. Frans holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business Management from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and, since 2014, has served as chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Erasmus University Trust Fund. Frans was named one the world’s top 20 business leaders in 2017 by influential global business magazine, Fortune. Its citation stated: “We lean toward CEOs with vision — those impacting the world beyond their companies. The 20 star executives are doing nothing less than defining the future of business.”
