Being an affiliated member of ACLC, I earn my living from something different: I am one of the editors of the Linguistic Bibliography / Bibliographie Linguistique, which covers linguistic publications from all disciplines and on all languages of the world with the emphasis on non-Indo-European languages and lesser known Indo-European languages.

Research

My PhD thesis (University of Amsterdam, 1996) is a study of verbal periphrases in Peninsular Spanish, analyzed within the framework of the late Simon Dik's Functional Grammar. Presently my main research interest concerns syntactic variation in (Andean) Spanish, which I try to account for within the theoretical framework of Functional Discourse Grammar.
