Amsterdam Workshop on Greek Linguistics.
History
In 2008, two Greek linguists happend to visit the Meertens Institute at the same time. This gave rise to the idea to gather other linguists for a presentation of their research and thus the Amsterdam workshop on Greek linguistics was born. Since 2009, the department of Modern Greek studies is the co-organizer of the event. Every year we welcome an invited speaker from Greece and several other participants from all around Europe. We also offer students the opportunity to present the results from their BA of MA theses to a wider audience.
