Introduction
Since 2003 I have held a research position at Computational Biogeography and Physical Geography at the Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics. My main research interest is how various aspects of avian flight and behaviour are related to atmospheric dynamics at different scales in space and time. Although most of my research is conducted on my computer, I love watching birds in the field.
