Curriculum vitae (English)
Liselotte van Middelkoop received her law degree in Dutch civil law from Leiden University in 1998, where she specialized in international and corporate law. Her thesis on the Dutch Electricity Act implementing the first EU energy package led to a 6-month traineeship at the legal departement of Energie Noord West ENW N.V. (now Vattenfall). Liselotte then worked for three years as an attorney for the international law firm Baker & McKenzie at the department Real Estate, Environmental and Administrative law, where she worked, among others on waste law. After attending post-graduate courses in international and European environmental Law at the UvA, she started working at ACELS on her Ph.D research project on the interaction between Union Law and Dutch courts in environmental cases. At present Liselotte van Middelkoop is researcher and lecturer in European environmental law at ACELS, where she also focuses on renewable energy and energy efficiency. She is country correspondent for the Journal for European Environmental and Planning Law (JEEPL) and also lectures in post-graduate courses on European public law.

Thans is zij onderzoeker Europees milieurecht bij het Centrum voor Milieurecht.
