Introduction

Since February 2011 I am researcher at the Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics (IBED). A VIDI grant from NWO offers me the opportunity to develop a long-term compass for the protection of global biodiversity. I am also guest researcher and lecturer at the Research group Ethics of the Faculty of Humanities, where I teach bio-ethics and environmental ethics.
