My work
I am a PhD researcher with the Department of Computational Geo-Ecology (CGE) within the Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics (IBED) at the University of Amsterdam (UvA).
I have been developing statistical models of bird migration for several locations in the Netherlands and Belgium for the purposes of flight safety as part of the FlySafe project.
These predictive models are used by the Netherlands and Belgian Air Forces to safely schedule training flights. To view these models online, visit the Flysafe link below.
