Personal Profile

My interests (both teaching and research) are creative writing and rhetoric, as well as the development of media literacy during the process of second language acquisition. In view of this, I organize digital exchange programmes on interdisciplinary topics through different media, between English Language students and students from foreign universities. The latest project was a collaboration between drama students from Deakin University in Melbourne , Australia and UvA English Language students, which culminated in an online digital theatre performance through Skype in May 2009.
